"This R&B take on Handel's classic Messiah is one of our new favourite holiday traditions." (Toronto Life)
20 years ago, Quincy Jones produced Handel's Messiah, A Soulful Celebration which refigured the original score with Afro-American heritage and music.
Ten years ago, Ballet Creole began performing Soulful Messiah, artistic director Patrick Parson's choreographic response to that spectacular music.
Today, the show has grown into a full-length performance of jazz, tap, ballet, modern and Afro-Caribbean dance to this powerful uplifting and downright soulful holiday music.
Featuring guest tap dancer and Niagara native, David Cox (formerly of STOMP).
