RENT is a rock musical with music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson, based on Giacomo Puccini's opera La Boheme. It tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and creat in New York's lower east side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.
Brock Musical Theatre is a student run theatre company open to students of all ages, genders, backgrounds and majors. BMT has been a BUSU ratified club since 2005 and has put on productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar (2006) and High School Musical (2008).
