Taking a page from ‘50s crooners, ‘30s style jazz, and the chanteuse tradition of the ‘60s, Lily Frost's brand of “lounge pop” is a dreamy internationally flavoured hybrid of minimalism and soul-stabbing honesty. Her eccentrically catchy work has been featured in Telus commercials, Greys Anatomy and the movie Crazy Beautiful. |
Students benefit from Freedom 55 Financial’s support for Centre for the Arts, Brock University's Theatre in Education Series
Niagara-region students will enjoy greater access to Centre for the Arts, Brock University's Theatre in Education series this season thanks to a $15,000 contribution on behalf of Freedom 55 Financial, the financial security planning division of London Life.
The contribution, made through The Key to Giving™, the national corporate citizenship program of Great-West Life, London Life and Canada Life, will provide discounts on student tickets and a full ticket subsidy application program for disadvantaged areas, students in senior kindergarten through grade 12 and schools for the October 2008 to April 2009 series.
